Positive: Host was very friendly. Breakfast was superb. The host gave a guided tour to his cow shed which was an interesting experience especially for people growing up in the city. Would definitely recommend friends to visit.

Positive: The hosts were simply wonderful. Even though I didn't speak Japanese well, they helped me out the whole time by speaking simply and listening patiently. I learned so much about cows and dairy farming and life in Japan's countryside. I enjoyed touring the farm, bringing the hay bales back from the pasture, the illustrated storybook and presentation, Yoshio-san's jokes, seeing the stars at night, the delicious milk and yogurt and hokke, having a bath in a Japanese home for the first time, etc. It was a really delightful stay for someone like me who's grown up and lived his whole life in the city.
